KISSIMMEE, Fla. — July 23, 2026 — This holiday season will be a magic train journey of wonder, whimsy and winter magic at Gaylord Palms Resort. Guests will be shouting "All Aboard!" as ice! featuring The Polar Express™ arrives in Orlando. Gaylord Palms Resort's signature, 20,000-square-foot immersive holiday attraction anchors the annual Christmas at Gaylord Palms celebration, taking place Nov. 13, 2026-Jan. 3, 2027.

CARVED IN ICE, CRAFTED WITH WONDER
This year's attraction showcases 11 larger-than-life scenes from the beloved animated film, brought to life inside a brisk, 9-degree environment. A team of 40 master ice artisans from Harbin, China will spend more than a month transforming frozen blocks into a walk-through winter spectacle.
As guests step inside ice! featuring The Polar Express™, they embark on the magical journey of a young boy whose Christmas Eve train ride to the North Pole reveals the true power of belief, friendship and courage.
Scenes unfold in dazzling detail: the train arriving at the Hero Boy's home, passengers savoring hot chocolate, a thrilling descent down an icy mountain and a grand arrival at the North Pole — all sculpted from hand-carved ice and illuminated with vibrant colors and LED lighting.
And this year, a guest favorite returns — the slide room, where five two-story-tall ice slides send thrill-seekers rushing across Glacier Gulch.

Last featured during Christmas at Gaylord Palms in 2019, The Polar Express™ returns to the resort by popular demand, inviting guests to rediscover a cherished story or share it for the first time.

Beyond its artistry, the immersive Christmas experience, ice!, invites guests to step into the scenes themselves, creating shareable moments and photo opportunities. Guests are welcome to explore at their own pace and linger as long as they like.
Guests are outfitted with signature blue parkas to stay warm, with additional winter attire encouraged.

In addition to ice! featuring The Polar Express™, a sleigh-full of experiences fills the 65-acre resort. The atrium comes alive with shows and displays, while Alpine Village transforms into a festive holiday hub, including ice tubing on Snow Flow Mountain, Snowball Build and Blast, the all-new Christmas Carousel, Photos with Santa and more. Additionally, Market Square, one of the largest Christas stores in Florida, features wall-to-wall holiday gifts, collectibles, toys, plush, home décor, apparel, ornaments, ice!-branded souvenirs, and more.
