KISSIMMEE, Fla. — Capes, cowls and super hero legends are landing in Central Florida as Gaylord Palms Resort and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences (WBDGE) team up to bring Super Hero Summer featuring DC to Gaylord Palms May 22-Sept. 7. The second-annual event invites guests to visit the worlds of iconic DC Super Heroes, with experiences designed for the whole family.
Created through a Gaylord Hotels brand partnership with WBDGE, the event features immersive experiences inspired by DC's legendary stories and characters. Wonder Woman, Superman and Batman are the featured DC Super Heroes, alongside more DC fan favorite characters, across paid and complimentary activities.

Live the Legend:
In the DC Super Hero Academy live show, guests hear legendary tales straight from the comic books! But this isn't just story time - it's a chance for guests to jump into the action and flex their super powers, solve puzzles, test heroic instincts and craft a personal adventure. But guests should keep a sharp lookout for any DC Super Heroes that might pop in to join the fun. The show is complimentary for overnight resort guests.
Super Soaked!:
In addition to the excitement of the 3-acre Cypress Springs Water Park, guests can enjoy the DC Super Hero Splash Bash, featuring superhero games, DC trivia, a live DJ and plenty of splash-tastic fun to help beat the heat. On select evenings, the giant video screen at Cypress Springs Water Park transforms into a silver screen for DC Movie Night Poolside, where DC Super Hero films can be viewed from the main feature pool or poolside seating.
Heroic Hands at Work:
Young guests' creativity takes flight in DC Super Hero Craft Zone, a secret hideaway where guests can showcase their artful skills to create a treasured take-home souvenir.
Dine with Heroes:
Wonder Woman, Batman and Superman join guests for a character dining experience in Hall of Justice Character Dining. An unforgettable dining experience filled with heroic encounters, a diverse menu and lots of surprises, it's more than a meal - it's a mission!
Riddle Me This:
Guests embark on a puzzle-filled adventure in the Revenge of The Riddler Scavenger Hunt. Using clues in their secret booklet, guests use their greatest detective skills to solve The Riddler's mind-bending puzzles that are scattered throughout Gaylord Palms Resort.
An Epic ‘Glowdown':
A nighttime clash between good and evil between DC's greatest Super Heroes and Super-Villains unfolds above the atrium floor in the Battle for Justice Light Show. Using the animated LED light curtains suspended from the Gaylord Palms atrium ceiling, colorfully animated visuals will be accompanied by a cinematic musical score to close out each heroic day.
Super Sightings:
Guests can snap a photo or "super selfie" with DC Super Heroes as they make surprises appearances around Gaylord Palms.
Year-Round Fun
In addition to the fun of the Super Hero Summer celebration, guests this summer can enjoy many of the year-round amenities at Gaylord Palms, including the 4.5-acre indoor atrium with Florida wildlife, winding trails, waterfalls and more. Relâche Spa offers treatments to relax and rejuvenate, and Cypress Springs Water Park features seven water slides, two swimming pools, a multi-level water playhouse, surf simulator, an action river attraction, private cabanas and preferred poolside seating.
