Discovery Global Experiences (WBDGE). Super Hero Summer kicks off June 20 and runs through August 16, with activities on select dates. Super Hero Summer invites visitors of all ages to join Batman, Wonder Woman and Superman in a summer of adventure set against the San Diego Bay. Guests can enjoy DC Super Hero‑themed live shows, encounters with members of the Justice League and iconic DC movies at the resort's water park. A mix of complimentary and paid activities allows families to tailor their stay to include the experiences that matter most to them.
Taking place one year after the resort's opening, the adventures unfold at the waterfront resort, which offers guests an extraordinary array of experiences set against sweeping Pacific Ocean views. Guests can experience a dozen locally-inspired dining outlets, a 4.25-acre water park and stay in one of the resort's 1,600 guest rooms, including 89 suites.
This summer, guests at Gaylord Pacific can experience:
• DC Super Hero Academy Live Show: Hear legendary tales straight from the comic books! But this isn't just story time, it's a chance for guests to jump into the action and flex their super powers. Solve puzzles, test heroic instincts and craft a personal adventure. Stay sharp — Heroes may make a surprise appearance.
• Revenge of The Riddler Scavenger Hunt: Take on The Riddler through a resort-wide scavenger hunt filled with cleverly concealed puzzles, riddles and codes that must be solved to save the day.
• DC Super Hero Sightings: Catch a member of the Justice League on a mission to thwart the latest nefarious plot set in motion by The Riddler.
• Hall of Justice Dining: Step into the Justice League's dining hall, where members of the Justice League join guests for epic eats and heroic tales of courage and truth.
• DC Movie Night: Splash in the water park or snack from the pool deck as you watch your favorite DC Super Heroes come to life on the big screen. With fellow fans cheering all around you, this outdoor movie night is your personal super hero escape, putting you in the middle of the action.
• DC Craft Zone: Let the super hero in you take shape by creating hero-inspired memorabilia at this fun arts and crafts station.
For the ultimate heroic experience and value, guests can reserve the Legends in the Making Overnight Package, which includes an overnight stay, the Revenge of The Riddler Scavenger Hunt, a Super Hero-themed cape and exclusive access to DC Movie Nights.
Guests can keep the excitement going by pairing Super Hero Summer activities with a visit to the resort's expansive water park, which includes multiple pools, action-packed waterslides, a lazy river, a wave pool, bookable cabanas and plenty of lounge chairs.
