
Rich Maradik is Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Gaylord Entertainment (NYSE: GET). In this role, he oversees all marketing, revenue management, strategic alliances and information technology functions for Gaylord. He joined the company in 2006 as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer.
Prior to joining Gaylord, Maradik was with Acxiom Corporation (NASDAQ: ACXM) after it acquired the business he co-founded and for which he served as CEO — SmartDM, Inc. Rich helped grow SmartDM between 1995 and 2005 from a start-up to become one of the leading database marketing firms in the U.S., serving large and middle-market enterprises in the casino, hotel, sports and entertainment and financial services sectors.
Prior to starting SmartDM, Maradik served as Finance Director for the Tennessee Republican Party and, prior to that, worked at his alma mater, Vanderbilt, as a development officer.
Rich graduated from Vanderbilt University in 1991. He currently serves on the Vestry at St. George's Episcopal Church, as well as on the Boards of the Nashville Symphony Orchestra, Faith Family Medical Clinic and the YMCA's Camp Widjiwagan. He and his wife, Anne, have three children.
