We are a company that cares deeply about our communities. We give generously, both financially and with volunteer hours, to a number of national charities and organizations, including the United Way and Junior Achievement. Our individual hotel properties also support a variety of local projects that focus on youth, arts, education, and employment initiatives.
As a part of our Rooms for Good we have been able to feature deserving charities to participate in a co-operative marketing/fundraising program encouraging our guests to participate in giving.

What makes the Autism Society unique is that it’s a national grassroots organization made up of individuals with autism, family members, professionals and volunteers providing assistance and support to one another. Gaylord Hotels joins with them by partnering for the 'Rooms for Good' co-operative marketing/fundraising program. During the month of July, 10 percent of all revenue from 'Rooms for Good' vacation packages will be donated to this charity.
The Autism Society has 150 chapters that serve communities across the United States. Chapters provide support through information and referral services, recreational opportunities, advocacy and much more! Their national conference is the most comprehensive national conference on autism and is attended by 2000 people each year. This year, Autism Society is excited to hold their 42nd Conference and Exhibition of Autism Spectrum Disorders at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center in Orlando from July 6-9.
"Individuals with autism and their families come to the Autism Society, a network of more than 100 chapters nationwide, because we provide support, community and assistance to those navigating an often confusing spectrum of services and supports," said Scott Badesch, interim president & CEO of the Autism Society. "The Autism Society is grateful to Gaylord Hotels and its guests for their generosity and support, which will help us expand our services, programs and advocacy efforts to fulfill our mission of improving the lives of all affected by autism."
