With over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Gracie Vega currently serves as the Director of Human Resources. She was a member of the resort's pre-opening team and assisted in the hiring of nearly 2,000 Gaylord Texan STARS (employees).
Prior to joining Gaylord Texan, Gracie served as the Director of Human Resources for the DFW Lakes Hilton Executive Conference Center. She began her career as an Employment Coordinator and Meeting Services Manager for the Anatole Dallas. Gracie was nominated for the 2005 Gaylord President's Award for "Integrity"; chosen as the 2001 "Human Resources Director of the Year" by Wyndham Hotels; recognized by the International Association Personnel in Employment Security in 2000 and 2001'; and honored by the "Welfare to Work" Partnership in 1999. She has served as Vice President for the Hospitality Human Resources Association in the DFW area and founded the DFW Work Coalition.
Gracie received her BS in Business Administration.
