Gaylord Texan Hosts an ‘EGG’straordinary Easter Brunch

This year, kids 12 and under eat FREE!

Grapevine, Texas—( March 18, 2009 ) Gaylord Texan Hotel’s annual Easter Ballroom Brunch, taking place Sunday, April 12th in the elegant Texas Ballroom, will offer a multitude of culinary delights for adults and children. At the grand holiday feast, kids 12 and under with an adult will eat FREE and be invited to participate in the resort’s famed Easter egg hunt.

  Brunch offerings will include carved-to-order Rosemary Crusted Leg of Colorado Lamb and Yorkshire Pork Roast with Cinnamon Apple Compote in addition to full breakfast selections complemented with made-to-order omelettes and breakfast breads. Upscale buffet stations will host chilled salads and variety of seafood including smoked fish, sushi, crab, and shrimp. In addition, each of the culinary offerings will be served with a variety of beverages including sparkling wine for those ages 21 and up. Guests will want to save room for the luscious dessert presentation including an overflowing chocolate fountain and sugar-free dessert bar. Not to forget the little ones, an elaborate children’s buffet featuring their favorites will be presented on a special station of their size.

  Tickets to Gaylord Texan’s Easter Ballroom Brunch are $65 for adults and FREE for children 12 and under with a paying adult (one free child per one paying adult). Additional tickets for children 6 – 12 are $25. All children 5 and under eat FREE.

For those wishing to stay to play all weekend, Gaylord Texan is offering a reduced rate of $129 per night from Thursday, April 9th – Sunday, April 12th, 2009. Visitors will enjoy the hotel’s six award-wining casual and fine dining restaurants; 25,000-square-foot European inspired spa; eight unique retail shops; Glass Cactus nightclub on Lake Grapevine; and constant schedule of atmospheric entertainment.

Seating times: On every half hour from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Reservations will not be accepted for the 12:30 p.m. time slot.

  Pricing for Brunch ONLY: $65 for adults. Children 12 and under with an adult eat FREE (one free child per one paying adult). $25 for any additional children. Children 5 and under eat free. *Price includes brunch, sparkling wine, self-parking, musical entertainment, service charges, and tax. Valet parking is also available at the standard rate.

  Gaylord Texan’s Easter Egg Hunt: Hosted in the pre-function area outside of the Texas Ballroom. Hunts will commence at 11:00 a.m., Noon, and 1:30 p.m.
