Old Hickory Steakhouse Savors Summer with Soft Shell Crab Delights

GRAPEVINE, Texas—( June 5, 2008 ) Old Hickory Steakhouse at Gaylord Texan Resort - offering 1855 Brand Premium Black Angus beef, fresh seafood, an artisanal cheese selection, tempting tableside desserts, and an extensive wine list – is currently featuring Soft Shell Crabs paired with a variety of local summer ingredients.

Traveling from a small family-owned crab company in Crisfield, Maryland, the crabs will be shipped the moment they shed their delicate shells. They will arrive directly into the award-winning hands of Old Hickory’s Executive Chef, Joanne Bondy, where they will pan fried or grilled to perfection.

Old Hickory’s Soft Shell Crab promotion will run July 1st – September 30th, 2008. Pricing will vary. All local visitors who dine in Old Hickory receive complimentary valet or self-parking. Reservations are strongly recommended.

Before or after dinner, guests of Old Hickory can enjoy the intimate setting of the resort’s Wine Bar. Featuring the unique Enomatic Wine Tasting System, the Wine Bar offers samplings of high-end wine from around the world in one, three, or five ounce pours.
