Steven Pidgley joined Gaylord Hotels in January, 2004 as Gaylord Opryland's Director of Catering. After successfully leading the Nashville team for three years, Steven made the move to Director of Catering at Gaylord Texan. Having demonstrated strong leadership skills and unmatched food knowledge, Steven was promoted to his current role in June, 2008.

Steven has over 30 years experience in the hospitality industry. Prior to joining Gaylord, Steven worked in hotel properties throughout the world including England, South Africa, and Hawaii. In the United States, he worked in Detroit, Chicago, and Tennessee before making Texas his home. In his current role, Steven oversees the Texan's Food and Beverage operations including 7 restaurants, 6 lounges and the exciting Glass Cactus Nightclub

Steven grew up in England and earned his culinary degree, City & Guilds 706 1& 2.
