Bob is vice president sales and marketing and was one of the first STARS at the Texan. McPherrin joined Gaylord Hotels from his previous post as regional director of sales and marketing for Six Continents Hotels in New York City.
McPherrin, a 20-year veteran of the hospitality industry, has worked in sales and marketing for various companies, including MGM-Mirage, Inter-Continental Hotels and Resorts, Fairmont Hotel Management Limited Partnership, Regent Hotels, Marriott Hotels & Resorts and Hilton Hotels Corp.
Robert McPherrin has a BA from Loyola University of Chicago, and a Masters degree from the University of Illinois.
