Bigger, brighter and more brilliant than any other Christmas event in the Southwest, Gaylord Texan's Lone Star Christmas celebration presents all the joy, wonder and merriment of the holiday season on a grand Texas scale!

Returning to the Dallas/Ft. Worth area for its sixth season, our 2009 Lone Star Christmas is bringing back fan favorites, including a 50-foot rotating Christmas tree, magical train sets, a life-sized gingerbread house, and 1.5 million twinkling lights. And new this year, our frozen holiday attraction, ICE!--an incredible interactive wonderland carved from two million pounds of ice--brings to life the Dr. Seuss holiday classic, How the Grinch Stole Christmas!

Dozens of lavish holiday displays include 5,600 feet of garland, 10,000 Christmas ornaments, and 1.5 million lights.

From stilt walkers to singing cowboys to Santa Claus, there's delightful entertainment around every bend.
Tree-Lighting Ceremony

Gaylord Texan kicks off the Christmas season with this free event, which includes an appearance by Mrs. Audrey Geisel—widow of the late "Dr. Seuss" Geisel and the one-and-only "Mother of the Grinch."
Breakfast with The Grinch

Enjoy a breakfast buffet featuring Dr. Seuss-themed items such as Grinch Fingers, Mt. Crumpit Chocolate Fountain, Grinch-green iced cinnamon rolls, and of course, Green Eggs and Ham!
Gingerbread Corner, presented by Enchanted Gingerbread^®

Step inside Gingerbread Corner and have a sticky, fun time decorating mini-gingerbread house ornaments, cookies or full-sized houses with gooey royal icing and candy.
Cookies & Milk Story Time with Mrs. Claus

Snuggle up in a blanket with cookies and milk as Mrs. Claus, direct from the North Pole, reads children a classic Christmas bedtime story. Kids get to take a book home as a special Christmas gift, autographed by Santa's favorite lady!
Murder Mystery Dinner Theater

Marshal Jim Courtright returns in a new installment of this popular interactive theater experience--the debut of "Dismay in a Manger."
