Johann Krieger Named Vice President & Hotel Manager for Gaylord Palms Hotel & Convention Center

Kissimmee, Fla.—( July 10, 2007 ) Johann Krieger has been named Vice President & Hotel Manager for Gaylord Palms Hotel & Convention Center. The announcement was made by Kemp Gallineau, Senior Vice President & General Manager for Gaylord Palms Hotel & Convention Center.

Krieger succeeds Sheldon Suga, who recently had been promoted to Senior Vice President & General Manager for the new Gaylord National Hotel & Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland. Krieger will oversee the day-to-day operations of the 1,406-room hotel and support the hotel's approximately 1,500 STARS (or employees, in Gaylord-speak).

"Johann has had a tremendous impact on our hotel, leading the rooms division to the highest guest satisfaction scores in Gaylord Palms history and modeling an unwavering commitment to our STARS-first culture," said Gallineau. "I look forward to the continued impact he will have on our hotel team as hotel manager."

Johann joined Gaylord Hotels in 2001, as a member of the opening team for Gaylord Palms, serving as Director of Front Services, which included bell services, Consider It Done, valet parking, concierge, and celebrity services. In 2005, he was promoted to Director of Rooms.

Prior to Gaylord, Johann was manager of front services and concierge at the Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin Resort. His previous experience also includes leadership positions in concierge and bell services.

Johann and his wife Maggie have been married for 13 years, and are the proud parents of four children: Leah, age 9; Lauren, age 7; Ryan, age 4, and Julia, age 3.
