Go "Rogue" at Cheese and Beer Dinner Extravaganza

Gaylord Palms Partners with Rogue River Creamery and Rogue Ale for a Night of Cheese & Beer

Kissimmee, Fla—( March 14, 2011 )

On Friday, April 8, two of the biggest names in cheese and beer will come together to present an evening of artisanal cheeses, handcrafted ales and extraordinary cuisine in Old Hickory Steakhouse at Gaylord Palms Resort.

Rogue River Creamery and Rogue Ale have joined forces to create an historic evening of handmade sustainable cheeses and a fine selection of micro brews complemented by a memorable seven-course dinner menu. This is the first time the two companies have joined forces in an event of this magnitude in Central Florida.

Oregon-based Rogue River Creamery prides itself on sustainability and the art and tradition of making some of the world's finest handmade cheese. Rogue Ale expresses itself through handcrafted ales, porter, stouts, lagers and spirits. Rogue aims to brew the finest varietal ales in the world, with an uncompromising devotion to quality and the art of brewing.

Bringing these two organizations together offers Old Hickory Steakhouse Chef Paul Player the perfect opportunity to showcase the myriad of sustainable menu items he and his team have created and introduced at the signature restaurant. Menu items will incorporate a diverse selection of cheeses including Oregonzola, Caveman Blue and Echo Mountain Blue, among others.

The dinner is $80 per person, exclusive of tax and service charge, and begins at 6 p.m. For reservations call 407-586-0708. Learn more...
