With more than 20 years experience in the meetings and convention industry, Quill currently serves as Director of Conference Management and oversees all aspects of the hotel's 400,000 square foot convention center.
Quill joined Gaylord Hotels in June of 2001 as Director of Convention Services and a member of the pre-opening leadership team.
Prior to joining the company she served as the Event Services Manager with the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. The facility is the second largest convention center in the United States with nearly 3 million square feet of meeting and convention space.
Previously Quill served as Sr. Convention Service Manager at the Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin Resort and was responsible for managing some of the hotels largest events.
She spent the early part of her career in the entertainment industry in such roles as Lighting Designer, Stage Manager, Production Coordinator and Technical Director for various corporate events.
She currently serves on the UCF advisory board for Tourism, Events and Attractions. She also serves on the board for Valencia Community College Hospitality and Tourism Management program.
Quill received her B.S in Business Administration and is a Certified Meeting Professional. She is also a member of the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) and Meeting Professionals International (MPI).
