Christina brings her warm-fuzzy side, and her results-driven management style, to a human resources department which has set many standards within the Gaylord Hotels brand. It’s no wonder she was nominated as Outstanding Manager of the Year by the American Hotel & Lodging Association.
After joining Gaylord Hotels in 2001 as Assistant Director of Human Resources and a member of Gaylord Palms' pre-opening leadership team, she was recruited to assist the company’s flagship property, Gaylord Opryland, where she was instrumental working with departmental leaders in decreasing turnover and increasing overall STAR satisfaction.
In 2006, Gregg returned to the Gaylord Palms where she continued to show-off her flair and creativity – many times spotted walking in the hotel in her Elvis Wig or Scooby Doo costume – all reinforcing the STARS-First culture and educating Leaders (managers) to “Do the Right Thing.”
Christina’s dedication to STAR culture, her enthusiasm and leadership style has been instrumental in the resort being recognized as one of the Orlando Sentinel’s Top 25 Companies for Working Families, and Florida Trend Magazine’s "Florida's Best Companies to Work for 2010."
Prior to joining the company, Gregg served as Sr. Human Resources Manager for the Entertainment Division of Universal Orlando. She began her professional career as a recruiter and human resources generalist in the healthcare industry.
