
The Relāche Fitness Center at Gaylord Palms Resort is located in the lush Everglades Atrium and only steps away from the South Beach Pool. We provide everything you need to stay on track and in shape during your visit to Gaylord Palms. Reserved for our adult resort guests (view Relāche Fitness Center policies), the Relāche Fitness Center is a 4,000 sq. ft. facility that features:
20 pieces of Life Fitness™ cardiovascular equipment including treadmills, ellipticals, stationary bikes and recumbent bikes
A 9 station Life Fitness™ strength training machine circuit
A Smith machine barbell system with 335lbs of plate resistance
A Heavy-duty dumbbell rack with dumbbells ranging from 5lb to 60lb
A Functional training area with stability balls, medicine balls, resistance bands, steps, cushioned mats, yoga mats, light dumbbell rack (3lb to 12lb) and a foam roller
A Dual cable pulley machine with a multi-handle pull-up bar, two adjustable flat benches and a decline bench
Plus, the fitness center provides complimentary hand towels and earphones

The fitness center is open to resort guests everyday (including holidays and weekends) from 5:30am to 9:30pm.
Use of the Relāche Spa’s lockers, showers, saunas and steam rooms are not included in the resort fee. A daily spa pass can be purchased for $30. Relāche Spa is open from 9 am to 8 pm.
For safety purposes, you must be at least 18 years of age to work out in the fitness center. Guests 16 years of age are permitted to use the fitness center when accompanied by an adult at least 21 year of age. Guests under the age of 16 are not permitted to use the fitness center.
Guests must read and sign the liability form prior to working out in the fitness center, which is required only once per your resort stay. Additionally, closed toe shoes, t-shirts, and attire appropriate for exercise must be worn at all times.

Yoga - The ancient tradition of Yoga brings you into perfect harmony as you breathe, stretch, and relax away tension, anxiety, and stress. Guided by experienced instructors, our class is perfect for the beginner as well as intermediate yoga practitioner.
Core Training - Whether you are looking for better posture or peak performance, go beyond crunches and learn how to strengthen ALL of the muscles that surround and support your spine.
Circuit Training - This fast paced workout routine will help you burn a maximum number of calories in a minimum amount of time by combining cardiovascular conditioning with calisthenics and strength training exercises.
Strength Training - Learn proper form and maximize your muscle tone with exercises that specifically target your chest, back, arms, and legs.
Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of class to stretch and warm-up. Wear comfortable clothes and appropriate footwear. Inform our instructors if you have any health conditions that may affect your ability to participate in an exercise program.

All classes are 45min in duration. There is a $10 class fee (payable in cash or as a room charge) due prior to the start of class. Class size is limited to 5 participants per session and pre-registration is recommended, but not required. To register, call the Relāche reservation desk at (407) 586-4772.
