What credit cards do you take?

We accept all major credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

Do you have Transportation to Disney? From the Airport?

Our transportation partner, Mears Transportation, offers 24-hour transportation service from the airport. For reservations call (407) 423-5566. We offer complimentary scheduled shuttle bus service to area theme parks. See concierge for daily schedule.

What are your parking fees?

Our parking fees are as follows:

Self-parking (per day or overnight): $12 per day plus tax
Valet Parking (per day or overnight): $18 per day, plus tax

Do you sell theme park tickets?

Yes, theme park tickets are available from our Destination Universal ticket counter. In addition, Disney tickets can be purchased at the Gateway Disney shop in Market Square.

When can I cancel my reservation and not get charged for it?

You may cancel your reservation 72 hours prior to the arrival date without a penalty. This does not apply if you are participating with a group. Each group has a specific cancellation policy. You will need to contact your group's meeting professional to inquire about your specific policy.

Do I need to guarantee my reservation?

Reservations are automatically guaranteed by charging a one night room plus tax deposit. To avoid being charged, reservations must be canceled 72 hours before your arrival date. (See group disclaimer above)

What's the tax?
Per local and state ordinances, we charge a 13% tax.

What does the Resort Fee include?

Gaylord Palms is committed to providing our guests with a robust array of amenities to ensure the best possible experience. A resort fee of $15 (plus tax) will be charged daily and includes: daily newspaper delivered to your guest room door; wireless Internet access in your guest room and in public spaces throughout the hotel in the three atriums (St. Augustine, Everglades & Key West) – in-room high speed internet access; two bottles of Dasani^® water delivered daily to your guest room refrigerator; complimentary local and toll free telephone calls (up to 20 minutes); use of Canyon Ranch SpaClub fitness center; complimentary scheduled shuttle bus service to Walt Disney World theme parks and a free bucket of range balls at nearby Falcon's Fire Golf Club.

Can I get connecting rooms?

If you require connecting rooms, please ask your reservations agent to note it in your reservation.

Do you take pets?

No, but we are happy to recommend kennel services located near the hotel that are used specifically for travelers.

How many people to a room?

Due to local fire code ordinances, there is a maximum of four people per room.

How many restaurants are in the resort?

Gaylord Palms offers seven unique dining experiences including: Old Hickory Steak House, Sunset Sam's Fish Camp (seafood), Villa de Flora (Mediterranean buffet), Sora (sushi), and H₂0 Sports Bar & Grill. For your convenience, Java Coast offers casual fare 24 hours per day. In-room dining is also available 24 hours.

Do I need reservations for dining?

Reservations for dinner are generally recommended. Luncheon and breakfast reservations are generally not required unless special circumstances dictate the need.

All of our restaurants offer unique menu selections. Each has its own specialty. You may look under dining on the Website to get more information on the cuisine.

What's your most casual restaurant?

All of our restaurants are comfortable and have a resort feel for relaxation. Villa de Flora, our Mediterranean buffet restaurant, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner has a more relaxed atmosphere. H₂0 Sports Bar & Grill offers casual fare, poolside. And Java Coast is a great place to grab coffee, sandwiches and salads 24-hours.

Do you offer healthy entrees?

Yes, our In-Room Dining offers healthy cuisine created from recipes from our spa. In addition, if you have special dietary requirements, please discuss them with your server.

Is your room service available 24 hours?

Yes.

Do you have coffee makers in the room?

Yes.

Do you have mini bars in the room?

No. However, each of our guest rooms is equipped with a refrigerator stocked daily with two bottles of Dasani^® water. The refrigerator can be stocked with specialty items by In-Room Dining.
