A Nashville Tennessee Attraction
No trip to the Country Music Capitol would be complete without taking the time to visit the Country Music Hall of Fame.
The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum is operated by the non-profit, educational Country Music Foundation, whose mission it is to identify and preserve the evolving history and traditions of country music and to educate its audiences.
The museum opened a landmark, state-of-the-art $37 million facility in downtown Nashville in May of 2001. Spanning an entire city block, this must-see venue features live performances, miles of memorabilia and Elvis Presley's famous 1961 Cadillac.
The museum tells the story of one of America's most endearing art forms through historic country video clips and recorded music, dynamic exhibits and a regular menu of live performances and public programs. While you're there, don't forget to visit the museum store, listen in on live satellite radio broadcasts or grab a bite to eat at SoBro, the museum's on-site dining facility.
Open daily from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
