Choirs Invited to Audition for Holiday Show
Nashville, Tenn.—( September 20, 2007 ) Have you ever dreamed of performing on the world-renowned Grand Ole Opry® stage? That dream could come true this holiday season, thanks to Gaylord Opryland® Resort & Convention Center's A Country Christmas!Middle Tennessee church and school choirs are invited to audition for an opportunity to give a live performance at the Grand Ole Opry House prior to a performance of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular®, starring the world-famous Radio City Rockettes™. A limited number of choirs will be selected for this exclusive opportunity and will receive FREE show tickets for performing choir members, personalized service from Gaylord Opryland's choir coordinator, customized display boards and fliers to promote their performance, plus special show discounts for family and friends.
Audition CDs are being accepted now through Friday, October 19, 2007, and selected choirs will be contacted beginning October 26, 2007. Audition requirements are as follows:
- Submit a CD or DVD of one 3-minute a capella Christmas or patriotic song. No accompaniments. Include photo of choir in performance attire.
- Entries must include group name, choir director name, address, phone number and e-mail address. Only complete entries received by Friday, October 19, 2007, will be considered.
