Part of Gaylord Opryland’s new Celebrity Chef Series, Brown will demonstrate his lively cooking skills, plus his favorite recipes, during a 90-minute seminar. One of the most popular special events held at the resort last year, Brown’s live show drew hundreds of fans from across the nation.
A commentator on the popular Iron Chef America, Brown is best known for his funny television show Good Eats, a smart and entertaining program that uncovers traditional cooking techniques and showcases the latest in food and equipment trends. Brown not only writes and produces the shows but also stars in each offbeat episode. He has a new show premiering August 4, 2007, called Feasting on Asphalt. A James Beard Award-winning author, Brown has penned three books filled with practical wisdom on basic cooking techniques, baking and kitchen gadgets.
