In just a little over 6 months since Nashville's historic May 2010 flood, we are proud to be able to reopen our doors in such a short period of time. Thanks to the around-the-clock detailed work of some of Middle Tennessee's best contractors, sub-contractors and suppliers - and along with the unwavering support from our Nashville community (and beyond), we were able to stay right on schedule and be in the position to reopen just in time for the holiday season! I

In addition to revealing our stylish and contemporary new restaurants along with newly renovated and freshly redesigned lobbies, guest rooms and suites, we are eagerly anticipating welcoming back and reconnecting with our group meeting planners and attendees. We are so grateful for all the relationships we’ve built over the years and look forward to sharing this exciting new era with you as we rediscover Opryland together.

The iconic resort pulls out all the stops in a historical ceremony for VIP guests celebrating the rebirth of Opryland

The ceremony on Friday, November 19th, was just one part of a 3-day celebration designed to illuminate the level of restoration that has taken place at the resort since the unprecedented flooding the first weekend of May, 2010 - and to convey a deep appreciation to the city of Nashville and all of Opryland's supporters who aided in the resort's recovery.
