Fuse Sports Club Opens at Gaylord Opryland Resort

Sleek Sports Restaurant Scores Big with 100 HD TVs and Tailgate-Inspired Menu

NASHVILLE, Tenn.—( July 1, 2011 ) Guests of Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention can watch sporting events in style with the opening of Fuse Sports Club, a new 233-seat restaurant featuring more than 100 high-definition TVs and top-quality, tailgate-inspired fare for lunch, dinner and late-night dining.

“Our new Fuse Sports Club is a sports fan’s dream and the perfect place to watch the big game or catch up on the day’s scores in style—no matter the sport,” said Gaylord Opryland General Manager Pete Weien. “Guests now have a place to catch up on the scores over a meal or snack. As sports programming winds down late in the evening, Fuse takes on a new vibe with a live DJ.”

“We have taken the typical sports bar dining experience to a whole new level by using only the finest produce, meats, seafood and poultry and by incorporating sustainable products as often as possible,” says Executive Chef Brian Owenby. “The menu selections and the restaurant design itself work in tandem, balancing sophistication with a fun and relaxed atmosphere.”

Chef Owenby and his culinary team have crafted an extensive menu of favorite appetizers and mouth-watering entrées at Fuse. Diners will find staples like zesty hot wings, ultimate nachos and loaded cheese fries as well as all-beef hotdogs and brats with regional toppings, hand-battered corndogs, open-faced beef and cheddar melts, all-natural burgers and more.  Diners will also find a broad selection of draught and bottled beers along with original hand-crafted cocktails like watermelon margaritas and NOLA hurricanes.

Fuse Sports Club joins two other dining venues in what has become known as Gaylord Opryland’s Entertainment District. Located nearby in the Magnolia section of the hotel are Findley’s Irish Pub, a gastropub experience with live bands playing nightly, and Jack Daniel’s, a Southern foods restaurant featuring bluegrass performances in the evenings.
