The special features of Winter Wonderland include:

- Gingerbread Corners
- Treasures for the Holidays Crafts Show
- Photos with Santa
- ACC Express train ride

Hall of Trees. Back for its second year after a huge inaugural success, the charity-driven Hall of Trees is not only dazzling to see, it is a place where Christmas spirit can branch out beyond the baubles. Hall of Trees is a display of spectacularly decorated Christmas trees that are sponsored, decorated and filled with exciting prizes by a business, celebrity or organization. Each tree is tied to a designated charity. Visitors can donate dollars to vote on their favorite trees while touring the hall and, throughout the season, the trees and their prizes are posted in an online auction for bidding. Last year, Hall of Trees raised tens of thousands of dollars for charities such as The American Cancer Society, Nashville Alliance for Public Education and the Nashville Songwriters Association International. Hall of Trees opens Nov. 23, 2008. Admission costs $6. The web site for bidding on the trees will be posted on www.ChristmasatGaylordOpryland.com.
Gingerbread Corner. Candy canes and gumdrops; chocolate squares and lollipops; don't forget royal frosting as the glue. A fun and interactive experience for all ages can be found at Gingerbread Corner, where Christmas elves teach guests how to decorate miniature gingerbread house ornaments and cookies that can be taken home as souvenirs. Admission is $12 per guest.
Treasures for the Holidays Craft Show. Always a favorite, this craft show features a variety of hand-made and novelty gifts, ranging from candles and jewelry to clothing, artwork and food from more than 80 vendors from the United States, Canada and the Ukraine. The show opens in the Winder Wonderland area Nov. 22, 2008. Admission is $5.
Photos with Santa; ACC Express; Cocoa Station. This year, Santa's fans don't have to go far to find him. He'll be right inside Winter Wonderland ready to hear every detail a child wishes to whisper at Photos with Santa. And that famous A Country Christmas hot chocolate will be waiting to warm visitors at the train's Cocoa Station. These attractions open Nov. 22, with the exception of Santa who arrives Nov. 28, 2008.
