"We are excited about the new addition to our family and are happy to provide such a memorable experience for our guests."
Gaylord Opryland's Tennessee Walking Horse Viewing Area was opened in May 2005, and various opportunities are offered for the public to learn more and interact with these beautiful creatures. A free museum is open to the public with artifacts, photographs and awards with information on the history of this unique breed of horses. The museum is located in the small building adjacent to the Tennessee Walking Horse Viewing Area. Also, guests are invited to attend a FREE demonstration during the Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders and Exhibitors Association "Walk This Way" tour. This course is designed to help other equine enthusiasts with training or riding their horse. Two remaining "Walk This Way" tours are scheduled for this year: 10 a.m. on Sat., Aug. 18 and 10 a.m. on Sat., Oct. 13.
