Revealing Music Row's Secrets to Writing the Next #1 Song

Gaylord Opryland® Offers Music City Hit Makers Songwriters Festival.

Nashville, Tenn.—( June 26, 2007 ) While many songwriters can pen a tune with relative ease, getting radio stations to play the song can be a difficult journey. Fortunately, the keys to making a song a success is not kept secret, as Gaylord Opryland® Resort & Convention Center presents its second annual Music City Hit Makers Songwriters Festival, scheduled for July 20-22, 2007.

Some of Nashville’s top songwriters will be on-hand during a fun-filled weekend to teach tricks of the trade. Perfect for current songwriters or music enthusiasts, this three-day event will feature songwriting sessions sponsored by the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI), nightly concerts, a pool party, plus an abundance of songwriters-in-the-round events. This is an authentic Music City experience that will provide an up-close look at the music-making process.

“Because of our location, Gaylord Opryland has the great opportunity the showcase some of the amazing talent that makes Music City famous,” said Ken Groneck, special events director, Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center. “Hosting a songwriters’ event is part of our commitment to providing world-class entertainment. This is the perfect chance for any music enthusiast to hang out and learn from some of the best in the business.”
