Nashville, Tenn.—( April 20, 2007 ) Bountiful Mother's Day feasts abound at Gaylord Opryland® Resort and Convention Center on that important day, May 13. At Ristorante Volare, the Mother's Day Buffet begins at 10 a.m. and lasts until 7 p.m. featuring a wide array of Italian and American specialties, including Shrimp Cocktail, Antipasto, and Brasato Al Vino Rosso (Beef Shoulder Tenderloin Slowly Braised in Merlot). Cascades Seafood Restaurant's Mother's Day event begins at 11 a.m. and continues through 9 p.m. with a fresh Sushi bar, Soy Glazed Salmon, Maple Cured Pork Loin and much more. Rachel's Buffet runs from noon until 9 p.m. with a Strawberry and Champagne Vinaigrette Salad topped with almonds and Rose Petals, Grilled Flank Steak with Ancho Chili Tomato Coulis, plus Lamb Chops and many desserts. Several thousand ladies in red hats will come to the Gaylord Opryland Resort April 25-29 for the 2007 Red Hat Society's International Convention. Any women from the region who are interested are welcome to attend on opening night from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.(Ryman C Foyer) to learn more about The Red Hat Society and to meet the group's founder, Exalted Queen Mother Sue Ellen Cooper. The conference is expected to draw more than 3,500 red-topped ladies from around the world who are part of the social organization touting the credo of fun after fifty for women of all walks of life. The Radio City Rockettes will be making an appearance to visit with and to teach dance classes to the conference attendees, Saturday from 9-11 a.m., which the media is invited to cover.
