Several thousand ladies in red hats will come to the Gaylord Opryland Resort April 25-29 for the 2007 Red Hat Society's International Convention. Any women from the region who are interested are welcome to attend on opening night from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.(Ryman C Foyer) to learn more about The Red Hat Society and to meet the group's founder, Exalted Queen Mother Sue Ellen Cooper. The conference is expected to draw more than 3,500 red-topped ladies from around the world who are part of the social organization touting the credo of fun after fifty for women of all walks of life. The Radio City Rockettes will be making an appearance to visit with and to teach dance classes to the conference attendees, Saturday from 9-11 a.m., which the media is invited to cover.
