It's HOT!

Nashville, Tenn.—( March 29, 2007 ) The summertime fun is back in Nashville with colors, sounds and tastes for the entire season as SummerFest™ sizzles again at Gaylord Opryland® Resort & Convention Center. There will be something fun to do every day from a funky new band performing on lily pads, to gospel music, to celebrity chefs and bar-b-que. SummerFest begins May 4 and lasts until September 29, 2007.

“I believe people will be fascinated this year by the music and ambiance created by the new and mesmerizing band we’ve developed for our Cascades Atrium. It will be unlike anything they will experience elsewhere,” explained Arthur Keith, senior vice president and general manager, Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center. “SummerFest at Gaylord Opryland offers a getaway that is full of fun and surprises. Plus, our SummerFest package provides a chance for those who plan ahead to get the best value.”

SummerFest offers this year’s guests many opportunities for experiential learning from expert chefs in the “Cooking Under Glass” seminars or on a horticulture tour throughout the 60,000 plants within the hotel.
