Gaylord Opryland Resort Adds to Travel Industry Sales Team

Danna Winkler hired as sales manager.

Nashville, Tenn.—( March 28, 2007 ) Gaylord Opryland® Resort & Convention Center announces a new addition in the Travel Industry Sales department, as Danna Winkler joins the team as a Sales Manager for the Midwest Territory.

Winkler’s new responsibilities include leisure groups in the Midwest Territory, as well as the bank travel clubs and other specialty niche markets. This will assist in customizing group leisure programs for Gaylord Opryland’s offerings in order to provide the flawless service and fun that its clients have come to expect.

The Travel Industry Sales team is focused on communicating and promoting Gaylord Opryland’s entertainment and events to the group leisure market. Famous for events like the Celebrity Chef Series, Southern Gospel Festival hosted by Legacy Five and the annual A Country Christmas®, Gaylord Opryland offers something for everyone. The Travel Industry Sales team is committed to continuing that experience by tailoring unique packaging for leisure guests.

Winkler comes to Gaylord Opryland from COMMON A Users Group in Chicago, where she spent two years gaining experience in both sales and event planning. At COMMON, Winkler helped in efforts to reach a record number in sponsorship and advertising sales. Prior to that, she was an account executive for HOST Communications, where she played an important role in executing sales for the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).
