Gaylord Opryland woos Las Vegas Hospitality Leader To Its Team.
Joseph Albanese is the hotel’s new general manager of beverage. Albanese is overseeing the daily operations for the landmark hotel’s many bars and lounges including the Delta Lounge and Jack Daniel’s Saloon. Albanese is a Court of Master Sommelier, and brings with him a world of knowledge about what is new and hot in beverages after a career that has included positions at the Mirage, Bellagio, New York, New York, and Wynn Resorts in Las Vegas. One of the Nation’s Largest Flower Shows to be Judged by Gaylord Opryland’s Beloved Horticulturalist.
Hollis Malone relishes a chat with any hotel guest who loves to plant a pretty plot. You’ll find him designing the nine acres of atrium covered gardens inside at Gaylord Opryland or planning to plant with his team outside. Malone has the honor this year of being asked for the fifth time by the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society to judge exhibits in March that will be permitted to enter the prestigious Philadelphia Flower Show later in the year. Culinary Crew Heads to South Korea.
Gaylord Opryland Executive Chef, Michael Swann along with Culinary Recruiter Shante Bloomfield will soon be heading to Seoul, Korea in an effort to find some of the brightest young culinary professionals in that country. They will visit the top rated culinary schools in South Korea and hope to extend 18-month work/study opportunities to dozens of top students to come to the three Gaylord Hotels in the United States.
