Health, wellness and pampering highlight the upscale atmosphere of Relâche, a world-class spa and health center with state-of-the-art fitness, wellness and salon treatment areas. Pass through the glass entryway and enter a distinctly different spa environment.

Inside the sleek, modern setting of black and white marble, you'll find 12 various treatment rooms, including a cool treatment area, a couples' room and a Jacuzzi—all overlooking the Potomac River. Massage rooms and a health club round out the 20,000-square foot facility.

Bliss seekers can choose from a number of treatments and services, including massages, facials, body therapies, hand and foot therapies, nail enhancements, hairstyling, make-up services, waxing and more.

An indoor pool spans the entire south side of the hotel tower. The men's and women's locker rooms deliver every amenity, including relaxation lounges, saunas and steam rooms.

Our packages range from personalized experiences to our harmonic couples massage. All packages include the use of our steam room, sauna, locker rooms and a variety of amenities, including access to our co-ed Tea/Relaxation lounge.

Couple's Treatments (only available Feb. 12-14):

Couple's Chocolate Raspberry Scrub & Massage - 110 minutes, $600

• The ultimate indulgence features a chocolate raspberry body scrub treatment paired with a chocolate massage.  As if this wasn't sinful enough, the couple will enjoy champagne and chocolate fondue immediately following their treatment, and will receive a FREE take-home sample of chocolate massage oil.

Couple's Chocolate Massage - 50 minutes, $310

• Perfect for pampering your sweetie pea, this treatment features a chocolate massage followed by champagne and chocolate fondue.  The couple will also receive a FREE take-home sample of chocolate massage oil.

Rose Wrapsody (wrap) - 50 minutes, $155

• Experience the pure romance of the rose flower, while it renews and revitalizes dull, dry winter skin. An exfoliant of pure olive grains diminishes dead skin cells, while the essence of rose, neroli, and evening primrose oil hydrates and uplift the spirits.

Chocolate Raspberry Delight (scrub) - 50 minutes, $155

• Satisfy your chocolate craving with a decadent body sugar scrub. A rich chocolate polish invigorates dry, winter skin while a blend of cocoa, shea butter, and chocolate raspberry leaves the skin hydrated, and nourished.

Chocolate Raspberry Indulgence (massage) - 50 minutes, $155

• Indulge your senses with the rich aroma of chocolate and raspberry oils. Melt your aches and pains away with this full body massage, leaving the skin feeling rich and luxurious.

Chocolate Raspberry Manicure - 30 minutes, $55

• Wintertime is drying to the hands, so treat them to a helping of moisture. In addition to a beautiful manicure, hands will enjoy a chocolate scrub exfoliation, followed by a raspberry cream massage.

Chocolate Raspberry Pedicure - 50 minutes, $75

• Sweet smelling feet are oh so sexy!  In addition to a beautiful pedicure, feet will enjoy a chocolate scrub exfoliation, followed by a raspberry cream massage.

This Junior Olympic-sized, 24-meter lap pool is perfect for families and fitness! And, in warmer months it becomes "open air" as the front doors open to a gorgeous outdoor sun-deck and resort-style pool bar.

And, our 24-hour fitness center has the most sophisticated fitness equipment available, including cardio equipment outfitted with personal televisions.

Woodrow Wilson Bridge Pedestrian Path—NOW OPEN!

Run, walk or cycle to Gaylord National

The long-anticipated completion of the Woodrow Wilson Bridge Pedestrian Path means that Gaylord National is now accessible by bike...and foot! Take advantage of this scenic route over the Potomac River for stellar views from the bridge's overlook platforms and telescopes.

On the other side of this 1.1-mile bridge, the path connects with the Mount Vernon Trail providing scenic trips to Old Town Alexandria, Washington, DC, and—of course—George Washington's Mount Vernon Estate and Gardens.

And, trail visitors are always welcome to refill their water bottles free of charge at Java Coast.
